Unlike most Internists, Dr. Zich has a second board certification in Emergency Medicine. In addition to delivering cutting-edge Internal Medicine services, he is also proficient in procedures such as wound care and repair, joint injections and nerve blocks. He has additional training in Orthopedics, Obstetrics, Gynecology, bedside ultrasound, and other skills traditional Internists are not taught. 


Dr. Zich is an independent practitioner but has formal affiliations with both Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Rush University Medical Center.
